December 1 Ticket Sale Information
Submitted on Nov 22, 2011
UPDATE: In response to some feedback we’ve received about our pre-lineup sale, we've decided to release 100 additional VIP wristbands on April 18, following the announcement of the 2012 Hopscotch lineup. So along with the entire allotment of 3-day wristbands on sale at 10 a.m. today, fans can choose to purchase when they please. Both VIP and All-Show options are available here: http://hopscotchmusicfest.com/tickets.
If you are one of the many previous attendees who secured their wristbands during yesterday's pre-sale, and you would rather wait until April 18 to buy, you can request a refund via Etix here: http://www.etix.com/ticket/online/help2.jsp. We will approve all refunds within 24 hours.
As always, thank you for your support. We can't wait until next September.
Note: We're throwing a FREE holiday party at Tir Na Nog tonight w/ The Music Tapes, Depressed Buttons, TOW3RS, and The Toddlers. Come early, stay late!

All 3-day wristbands for Hopscotch 2012 (Sept. 6–8) go on sale next Thursday, Dec. 1. This year, the festival will expand to feature 15 venues and approximately 175 bands in downtown Raleigh. Below, we answer some questions regarding the specific ticket sale and the festival in general:
Q: Which tickets go on sale December 1?
A: The VIP wristband ($165) and the All-Show wristband ($110) go on sale December 1. These wristbands are for all three days of the festival and provide access to all Hopscotch Club shows and both City Plaza headlining shows on Friday, Sept. 7 and Saturday, Sept. 8. As always, admission is based on the legal capacity of each venue.
Q: When do tickets go on sale December 1?
A: Tickets will be on sale at 10 a.m. at www.hopscotchmusicfest.com and through www.etix.com.
Q: If I bought wristbands in one of the previous two years, do I receive any advantage to securing wristbands this year?
A: Yes, you will receive an email soon with details regarding a 24-hour pre-sale. This sale will begin at 10 a.m. on November 30.
Q: Are other ticket options available beside the VIP and All-Show wristbands?
A: Yes, fans will be able to purchase a Single Day Pass for Thursday ($55), Friday ($75), or Saturday ($75) of Hopscotch. These will be available in July, 2012, if not sooner.
Single tickets to the Hopscotch headlining shows in Raleigh City Plaza on Friday or Saturday evening will cost $34. These will be available on April 18.
Q: When will the lineup be announced?
A: The festival lineup will be announced April 18, 2012.
Q: Why did you eliminate the Club wristband option this year?
A: Please click here for a full explanation.
Q: Which venues are participating in Hopscotch 2012?
A: Raleigh City Plaza, Berkeley Cafe, Contemporary Art Museum (CAM), Deep South Bar, Five Star, Fletcher Opera Theater, Kings, Slim's, The Hive @ Busy Bee, The Lincoln Theatre, The Long View Center, The Pour House Music Hall, The Union, Tir Na Nog, and White Collar Crime.
Q: If I buy a wristband for someone else as a gift, can I just give them the paper E-ticket to pick up their wristband next September?
A: Yes. As long as the paper E-ticket is validated at our wristband redemption site in September, we will provide the wristband directly to that person.
Please don't forget we're throwing a free party next Thursday at Tir Na Nog with The Music Tapes, Depressed Buttons, TOW3RS, and The Toddlers:
