Hopscotch adds Long View Center

Hopscotch Music Festival happens Sept. 6–8, 2012, in downtown Raleigh. This year, the festival will expand to 15 venues and over 175 bands. Today, we’re pleased to announce our first addition to the growing list of participating venues—The Long View Center. Located across the street from Moore Square on the corner of Person and Hargett streets,The Long View Center was built in the late 1800s. Situated just a half-block from Tir Na Nog and The Pour House Music Hall, the Long View maintains Hopscotch’s highly walkable, closely knit downtown footprint. Capable of comfortably seating 400 fans, the elegant room also allows us to continue booking interesting, diverse artists in spaces where they fit best. We’re very excited about this partnership and look forward to hosting you at the Long View next September.
