Hopscotch Announces Wristband Distribution

During the last three weeks leading up to Hopscotch 2011, we’ll be announcing lots of information about the festival. Today, we answer what is perhaps the most frequently asked question of all: “How do I get my wristband?"
Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 7, at noon and ending Saturday, Sept. 10, at 4 p.m., ALL attendees, artists, media members, and contest winners can pick up their respective wristbands in the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Raleigh, in our new Wristband City. The Sheraton is located at 421 South Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC 27601; Wristband City will be located at the top of the escalators above the large lobby. There will be plenty of signage in the hotel directing you to the space.
This year's wristband distribution will feature an expanded Lenovo Lounge, WKNC 88.1 FM broadcasting live each day, deja Mi offering the official festival app for download and various other treats. The details are below.
Hopscotch Wristband City
Where: The Sheraton Hotel, 421 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27601 (you may also enter the hotel from Fayetteville Street).
When:
Wednesday, Sept. 7: 12 p.m.–9 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 8: 10 a.m.–12 a.m.
Friday, Sept. 9: 10 a.m.–10 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 10: 12 p.m.– 4 p.m.
Who: All 3-day wristband holders, artists/bands, media members, and contest winners.
If you purchased a 3-day wristband, you must show your printed eticket to receive a wristband. If you have individual tickets for either the Friday or Saturday night City Plaza show, you must bring your printed eticket or standard thermal ticket to the City Plaza for entry (like a regular concert).
