Steve Oliva’s “skyline” poster
Submitted on Dec 14, 2011
This past May, we announced our inaugural POSTERscotch contest. It was a big success and we want to again thank all of the voters and entrants, including eventual winner Sarah Parson, for participating. We'd also like to thank everyone who visited Amplified Art during Hopscotch 2011 for the POSTERscotch exhibit.
Over time, we received many inquiries from fans about a particular poster that was in the contest, but never featured for sale anywhere. Today, that poster is now available. Artist Steve Oliva (a member of local rockers Spider Bags) has kindly redesigned his "skyline" POSTERscotch entry to accurately reflect the complete 2011 Hopscotch lineup. He's created a limited edition of 100 3-color, hand-pulled silkscreen prints. Each is 12.5 x 19 inches and signed and numbered. The selection breaks down as such:
- 70 prints w/ mustard "Hopscotch" text
- 20 prints w/ metallic silver "Hopscotch" text
- 10 prints w/ metallic gold "Hopscotch" text
You can see them all here at Steve's online shop: http://kitchenislandshowprint.com/
Hopscotch 2012 wristbands are on sale here: http://hopscotchmusicfest.com/tickets/
Note: All proceeds from the sale of any official Hopscotch poster go directly to the artist. The festival does not take a cut.
