Melbourne, Australia rock’n’roll trio Cable Ties return in 2023 with third album All Her Plans via Merge Records. The new album builds on Cable Ties trademarks – taut garage rhythms, wiry guitar lines and incandescent vocals. Bassist Nick Brown and drummer Shauna Boyle’s kraut-inflected grooves pulse unstoppably behind the post-punk jag of Jenny McKechnie’s guitar. Cable Ties have shared stages with the likes of Sleaford Mods, Joan Jett, OFF! and The Kills. They come straight from a UK tour in August including shows with Amyl & the Sniffers, and head off after Hopscotch to tour the US with Superchunk.
