Sinai Vessel

Sinai Vessel is the recording and performing moniker of North Carolinian musician and songwriter Caleb Cordes. I SING – the project’s fourth LP and first for Keeled Scales – follows Sinai Vessel's sonic heel-turn on 2020's Ground Aswim, a sparse, haunting indie rock record labeled by Pitchfork as one "where each musical choice feels like the product of rigorous and unsparing consideration." Sinai’s genre-agnostic new LP finds Cordes openly attempting to pen the best and most immediate songs of his career, all while processing survival under capitalism and the grueling life of a do-it-yourself musician.
