The Loblollies

The Loblollies are a Raleigh-area youth bluegrass band (ages 14-18) featuring Alanabeth Duncan, August Sanchez Dunn, Hattie Casper, Jorja Cornwell, Isabelle Parker, and Wasswa Myers. Mentored by local musicians Jef Walter and Sam Stage, The Loblollies met through the monthly youth jams and weeklong youth camps offered by PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music.
Playing a mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass, as well as some original material, The Loblollies prove that the future of this music is in very good hands!
