On what would have been the first day of Hopscotch 2020, we’re excited to post the first round of archival footage from years past. Each year Dan Schram leads our archival video team to help record and preserve the sets that make Hopscotch so special. There’s plenty more where this came from and we’ll continue to add to the archival playlist over the next few weeks.
Below is a message from Dan and you can see the full archive here: 2020 Archive Release
“Today we are proud to open up the Hopscotch audio and video vault to release a batch of 200 performances over the festival’s history. I’d like to thank the team of videographers and sound engineers who believed in the mission of purposeful documentation in order to tell the story of Hopscotch, and the artists involved. The festival’s history is in these images and moments in time. There will be more, but until then please enjoy.”
