Hailing from South of Danville, BloodRitual plays thrash with dirt under its nails. Formed in 2018 and releasing a few EPs, they dropped their debut LP Do You Believe in 2024. Raised on outlaw country and southern rock but sharpened on Scandinavian punk and razor-wire thrash, the band delivers songs that hit like a beer bottle to the jaw.
Live, the band is a beer-soaked spectacle. Equal parts high-octane and high-stakes. Pulling in influences from Anti-Cimex, Power Trip, and the great white north’s greatest export Razor, twisted with the attitude of the New York Dolls in the 70’s or Johnny Paycheck drunk in a bar.
BloodRitual isn’t here to scream metal tropes about Satan, war, or nuclear winter. Musically and lyrically, BloodRitual is as personal as a score being settled.
