Know Before You Go
It’s time for Hopscotch Music Festival! Read up on festival info and prepare for a great weekend in Raleigh.
Upon completing your purchase for the festival, you should have received an email from Etix containing your tickets. You must bring these tickets to our on-site box office Wristband City to pick up your wristbands for the festival. You may either print these tickets out or display them on your phone.
If you can’t find your Etix confirmation email, click here for instructions on resending the email. You can also access your tickets through Etix Account Manager – click here for instructions on logging in.
Wristband City Hours:
Wednesday 9/4: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
Thursday 9/5: 10:00am – 10:00pm
Friday 9/6: 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Saturday 9/7: 12:00pm – 9:00pm
Located at 98 Market Plaza in downtown Raleigh, just a short walk from both City Plaza and Moore Square.
General Admission and VIP purchasers should enter from Fayetteville Street.
Artists, Guests, Sponsors, Press & Photo, Volunteers, and Staff should enter from Wilmington Street.
Etix is the only verified ticketing provider for Hopscotch Music Festival; passes sold on any other platforms may be invalid and voided. Hopscotch Music Festival and Etix are not responsible for tickets purchased on any other platform besides Etix.com.
All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges.
3-day GA and VIP passes will be available for purchase at Wristband City. We accept card, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Hopscotch is a cashless event.
Single day passes are not available for this year’s festival.
Wristbands must be worn on your wrist at all times during the festival. If you happen to lose, damage, or tighten your wristband, you must return to Wristband City to receive a replacement. There is a $10 replacement fee.

Getting to the festival
Hopscotch Music Festival is spread throughout downtown Raleigh. City Plaza stage is located on Fayetteville Street, between Davie Street and Lenoir Street. Moore Square stage is located at Moore Square, just an 8 minute walk from City Plaza.
The following streets will be closed for the festival:
Fayetteville Street between Davie Street and the south end of City Plaza
Hargett Street between Person Street and Blount Street (Saturday only for Totscotch)
Martin Street parking adjacent to Moore Square is reserved for the festival – public parking will not be available in these spaces. If your car is parked within these spaces, it will be towed.
We strongly recommend utilizing rideshares such as Uber or Lyft, or taking advantage of public forms of transportation such as the GoRaleigh bus system.
If you choose to drive to the festival, there are over 70 options for parking downtown, including parking garages and parking lots. Click here for a list of parking options.

CAUTION: Some performances may include lighting which may not be suitable for those sensitive to lights and strobes.
What to bring
We recommend traveling light to Hopscotch Music Festival!
The following items are permitted into the main stages of City Plaza and Moore Square:
- Fanny packs measuring up to 16.5in x 6.5in x 4in
- Single pocket drawstring bags up to 13in x 15in
- Any bags larger than 13in x 15in must be clear plastic, clear vinyl, or clear PVC
- Empty reusable water bottles (must be metal or plastic – no glass containers of any kind are permitted). Water stations are located at both City Plaza and Moore Square.
Please note that while these items are permitted at the main stages for the festival, they may not be permitted into the club shows. This is up to the discretion of each club’s management, and may vary from club to club.
For the safety of festival guests, artists, and staff, the following items are not permitted into Hopscotch Music Festival:
- Weapons or replicas of weapons, including pocket knives
- Illegal substances of any kind
- Large bags or backpacks
- Laser pointers
- Chairs, blankets, tents, umbrellas
- Outside food, beverages, or coolers, including any beverages purchased as part of Sip n’ Stroll
- Glass containers of any kind
- Cameras with detachable lenses, video cameras, GoPros, or audio recording equipment
- Drones of any kind
- Skateboards, roller blades, scooters, hoverboards, bicycles
- Hula hoops, flow toys
- Pets, except service animals with proper identification
This list is subject to change without notice at the discretion of festival management. If you’re unsure if an item is permitted into the festival, it’s probably best to leave it at home.
Hopscotch Music Festival is a cashless event! We accept credit, debit, Google Pay, and Apple Pay at Wristband City, bars, and merch.
Age Restrictions
City Plaza and Moore Square stages are open to fans of all ages. Kids 12 and under are free to attend!
The following age restrictions apply to all club shows held at the venue:
Lincoln Theater: All Ages
The Pour House: 21+
Kings: All Ages
Transfer Co. Ballroom: All Ages
Nash Hall: All Ages
The Wicked Witch: 18+
Neptunes: 21+
Slims: 21+
These are restrictions are set by each club, and are firm. No exceptions will be permitted.
You must have a valid photo ID to enter any club with an 18+ or 21+ age restriction. Individual clubs reserve the right to turn away any guests who do not have proper identification.

VIP Parties
From VIP parties with food and drinks to priority access to the club shows, VIP is the best way to experience Hopscotch Music Festival!
A VIP wristband is required for entry to the VIP parties each day.

Remaining tickets will be available to the general public beginning Saturday 8/31 for $22 + applicable taxes and fees.
